North Lindenhurst Pool Grand Re-opening




Jack and Janet Hunsucker of the North Lindenhurst Civic Association were there to greet local officials at the grand reopening of the totally refurbished North Lindenhurst pool.

Tanner Park 2009 Inaugural Concert

The first concert at Tanner Park this year was a Doo-Wop show th kick off another exciting season of concerts sponsored by the Town of Babylon.

Featured here are the Tribunes. Also performing was Still In Style and The Four Pops.

Lindenhurst Joint Civics Adopt-a-Window Program

The Lindenhurst Joint Civics Association has "adopted" windows of empty storefronts in town and put in artwork to improve the shopping areas visually.

Helping out in this effort is Emily Daub and her Mom Donna. Donna as a PTA member secured donated artworks from the students at the William Rall Elementary School which were put on display with Emily's assistance.

Thanks for the help in making Lindenhurst look beautiful.

North Lindenhurst Civic Association 2009 Scholarship Winners

The North Lindenhurst Civic Association awarded scholarships to deserving students who intend to further their education after graduation from High School.

Kaary's Jewelery Grand Opening

The Copiague Chamber of Commerce celebrated another new business opening up in Copiague at 1700 Great Neck Road. That's that beautiful new building in town.

Kaary is the young daughter of the owner who is pictured here with her family and the Copiague Chamber of Commerce officials who wish them well.

We Work For You

Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy conducted a "We Work For You" workshop for residents and community leaders at the Robert Moses Junior High in North Babylon.

Town of Babylon Supervisor Steve Bellone introduced Steve Levy and some of the Suffolk County Legislators, such as DuWayne Gregory, at my left, attended.

Grand Opening of Crazy Al's

Crazy Al's Clothing Warehouse just opened at 1207 Sunrise Highway, Copiague. It is across the street from the Fruit Tree next to the Gulf Station.

It is worth the trip. They have some unbelievable prices and quite a selection of clothes. Stop down and meet Al and "the Crazyettes"!
