Lindenhurst Library Donates to Operation Christmas Stocking


Some of the wonderful crew at the Lindenhurst Library is shown holding some of the many stockings put together and donated to Operation Christmas Stocking.
This is their second year of helping out and it is much appreciated.

Lindenhurst Homemakers Sew up Stockings

The Evening Unit of the Lindenhurst Homemakers cut and sewed many stockings to be used for Operation Christmas Stocking which supplies Christmas Stockings to our troops in Iraq and Afganistan. Here they are shown displaying some of their handiwork.

Tanner Park Seniors Come through for Operation Christmas Stocking

The Seniors at the Tanner Park Senior Center in Copiague came through again for our Servicemen with Operation Christmas Stocking. There were generous donations of Stockings and the goodies to fill them with.

I was honored with a Realtor Spirit Award for my community work with Operation Christmas Stocking.

It was presented at the Long Island Board of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island 2008 Leadership Appreciation Luncheon held at the Woodbury Country Club.

Operation Christmas Stocking

All Hands on Deck! We need everyone to help support Operation Christmas Stocking again this year. Operation Christmas Stocking sends stockings to the soldiers deployed in Iraq and Afganistan during the holidays. The Copiague Middle School Choir sang at the Opening Ceremonies of The Copiague Chamber of Commerce International Fall Festival. There were many local officials attending. There were pizza eating contest at the recent Copiague Chamber of Commerce International Festival. Sal on the right won the Saturday contest and Ryan on the left won the contest on Sunday. I can't believe they ate the whole thing! Did someone say Pepto Bismol?
