The cadets of the Marine Corp Junior ROTC at Lindenhurst High School will be filling the stockings made by the volunteers at the Tanner Park Senior Center in Copiague, for Operation Christmas Stocking.They took time from their drill practice for the upcoming Marine Corp Birthday Ball this weekend to pose for this picture.
Operation Christmas Stocking sends stockings to the soldiers deployed in Iraq and Afganistan during the holidays. Donations and stockings are still being accepted until November 25 at Century21 AA Realty, 1596 Straight Path (corner of Wellwood Avenue). For further info go to www.BoatsieLong Island.org.
